All proceeds go to Children Are People School. Children Are People School is a Bible-based school located in Northwest Kenya for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. The school officially started in 2015, and it consists mainly of Sudanese and Kenyan children with the goal of empowering them through a solid education in a safe, Christian environment. This school is set up on its own piece of land with a title deed bearing the official name of Children Are People Ministry. Reverend John and Tabitha Garang oversee the school. John, who is a surviving ‘lost boy of Sudan,’ especially has a heart for making a difference in the lives of these children. Dixie Koch is the president of Children Are People Ministry (http://childrenarepeople.org/about-us/), and realtor Will Guest of Oxford, MS, serves as a board member for the Children Are People School.
Below are a few pictures of the cafeteria that your participation as a golfer and/or hole sponsor last year helped to provide for this school!
